The movie, Shaadi ..............Yaar is completely avoidable. Its a remake of some Tamil movie, and from the beginning itslef, you start thinking, why you opted to watch this movie.
Its the same old story repeated, upper middle class high profile socialite marries an upper middle class boy, the girls needs to adjust with the so called orthodox boys family, then the off beaten track of divorce drama, and some more twists and turns, etc etc, ......yawn.
There is nothing original in the movie, and there is absolutely nothing which can save the movie from hitting the bottom at Box-Office.
I think the money bag producers like Bharat Shah, should wake up to the reality of movie making in the present times. One goes to watch a movie, to enjoy, to watch some gripping entertaining tale, and not to sleep.
There are no longer general family entertainers, barring a few like KKKG, DDLJ, but even these are from some distant world. Now you target the movie at a particular segment of the audience, and then create a subject, and watch the subject spinning dreams, in the virtual world or otherwise adapt some history to modern times, and watch the same unfold.
Also one should make movies which are crisp, fast, and not like a seven course dinner, wherein by the time you reach the end, you tend to forget where you started from, and whay exacttly you started at all ?
I hope this review gets read by the producer, director and maybe the star cast ( cant blame them, they are paid for the same isntit ? )
So dear friend, just go ahead , do recommend the movie to your enemies, to everyone you hate, and then sit back at the thought of them prespiring, and waving their fstcuffs in anger at you.
See to it that the movie is recommended for viewing only ay Multiplexes and that too on week-ends, for maximising the pleasure, of seeing one spend and regret.
