Good movie

Ratna Shah is definitely debuting as a director through marriage. This movie contains all the spices of Entertainment which you expect from any Bollywood movie. There is romance, drama, change in all. But apart from this, the film will also introduce you with the inequality of gender inequality, dowry and corruption. The story of the film is a love story which later becomes a waiting story.

The story is about two families living in Kanpur who are looking for a suitable partner for their children Satyendra Mishra(Rajkumar Rao) and Aarti Shukla(Kristi Kharbanda). Both families combine Aarti and Satyendra alias Sattu. Sattu is a clerk in the government office. There is Aarti College Topper who does not want to get married but wants to become an IAS officer. Both meet out to know each other and fall in love due to the same dream. Marriage is fixed and the procession comes home and from here it comes twist in the story.

Aarti leaves the house on the day of marriage because the boy’s father demands a lot of dowry. For which his father has to sell his land. Years later when Sattu and Jaya meet, love turns into hatred. In such a situation, will Sattu understand Jaya’s matter? Will Sattu be able to change the thinking of his family members, about the dowry? Will Sattu and Jaya forget love and forget? This is the story of the film.

The story of the film will show you a perfect mirror of the dowry system in India. However in some places in the movie you will feel that melodrama is more. The story will look weak somewhere, but in spite of this the director has made a good effort. At the same time, Rajkumar is playing a lot in the role of a handsome young boy.
