Boredom No. 1

What was David Dhawan thinking when he came up with such a baseless creation in the form of Shaadi No. 1? A similar storyline of 3 husbands who cheat on their wives has been tested in the form of ’’Masti’’ which was what I would call comedy but Shaadi No. 1 was just plain irritating. With a huge starcast, I went to watch this movie with high expectations but was highly disappointed at the end of it. I will not relate the story as it has been done already in previous reviews. There is nothing good that I can write about this movie. Many dampeners though were as follows:

The script is very weak (rather there is none at all). Stupid reasons for most actions in the film. Which father will resort to such cheap acts to change his daughters attitude towards marriage? From a Spiritual sari clad girl, how does Ayesha suddenly emerge in a skimpy top in one of the songs? Oh my I can go on and on.......Nyways, over to the performances.

Sanjay Dutt has wasted himself as an actor this film. After his great performance in Munnabhai, this was not expected of him. His presence is highly irritating in the movie and he is loud all through. Its also strange how he comes back from the dead (Well atleast Ekta Kapoor gives us rubbish justifications for bringing back the dead). Hey Mr Dhawan, atleast u could have stolen some ideas from her rather than keeping ur viewers wondering.

All the 3 men:

Fardeen Khan - the last I thought he had some potential was in ’’Khushi’’ where he delivered a decent performance but since then all his other performances have been no good - cut down on ur artificial and ear aching laughter.

Sharman Joshi - Must say he seemed as the only on who atleast as much as made me smile. He is cute and yeah quite funny too. However he is far too underdeveloped to be paired with Soha.

Zayed Khan - looks like a circus clown in every movie he works in. Pathetic acting, no skills in comedy, drama or action, what the hell is he doing in this film industry.

All the 3 main female leads (Ayesha, Esha and Soha) have done horrible acting. They look highly bored (dont blame them) and have no acting skills watsoever. Hey Soha, u should have stuck to ur bank job, Esha, u should have stuck to football and Ayesha to watever she was doing prior to entering this industry.

The other 3 girls (Sophiya, Aarti and Riya) are just made to look like glam dolls but fail to look sexy. Their costumes are horrible and acting (did they actually act) was worse. Why doesnt Riya realise that she is no good at acting, Sophiya stick to ur remixes and Aarti, u looked so much better in Indian costumes and all three of u cant act to save ur lives.

Well, need I say more. For people who have seen the movie, well u guys like me wasted 3 precious hours, for those who havent, dont even think about watching this movie. Pretend it doesnt exist. Its not even worth a B Grade.
