Destination weddings have become common among India’s nouveau riche, they love to flaunt it all, but they aren’t devoid of any drama and fun that accompanies an Indian wedding very unlike the Movie which seems stale.The movie is being marketed as a romantic comedy which ensues at a wedding locale in foreign lands.
The story is nothing short of crass, while dialogues are too amateurish and lacking any sense. The screenplay and direction also is not anything to write about.
I dont know why Shahid Kapoor moves in extremes. You dont expect an actor who did Haider to do this kind of bizzare movies which nothing but too much stupidity in the name of entertainment.
The songs and dance sequences are ok, but sadly thats the only ok part in the movie.
It looks more like Bartajya film on weed. Everyone goes nuts over a wedding with some phenomenal overacting and in some cases the lack of acting as such. In all it looks like a fairy tale gone awry. Do not waste your money watching this, your old wedding video might entertain you more than this movie, which Shaandaar will only leave you funming.
