In this movie, a grandmother matriarch Sushma Seth(repeating dadi act of HUM LOG, KAL HO NA HO) has a son Pankaj Kapur with two daughters - Sanah(real-life one with second wife Supriya Pathak) and illegitimate / adopted Alia Bhatt. Fatty Sanah is getting married to Vikas Verma.
The only thing fat and beefy(no beef pun intended here) r it’s bride and groom. There is a marriage organiser Shahid Kapoor, who falls for Alia. And it is all a big fat Kapur family show not to say a wedding.
