Movie starts with animated story narration by nasserudin shah, which was good. Then comes the entry of shahid kapur and alia bhatt. Shahid kapur looks great. Alia, as always looks great. Surprise elements were 2 great actors , firstly pankaj kapur whose chemistry with his real son was awesome and lights up your eye. Secondly, is sanjay kapur, who makes comeback after long time.
His accent and humour will make you laugh. Alia is sweet and engaging. Also emotional scenes between her and pankaj kapur touches. Movie is all of unexpectancies, you cannot tell what is next. Anytime a song pops up, or a emotional scene, or a funny one. There are some funny scenes which are great but cant be enjoyed with parents. Songs are good, but ’gulabo’ stands out. A great thanks to the director , vikas bahl for making such unique film which has great locations, actors, songs, emotional as well as funny scenes.
Finally, its a mad unique film, dont apply brains just enjoy.
