Samuel l jackson strikes back as the 70s film icon John Shaft . He is cool, he is swift, he is intelligent and he is a private eye with NYPD .Crooked cops take on small time drug lords, shazy informers and Mr. spoilt rich kid . Story is about bringing justice to the family of a street fight slain guy.. and the person behind it is a rich spoilt brat and gets off justice with the simple bail game which annoys mr. shaft our samuel l jackson so much that he gives off his badge and sleuths off duty to nab the rich guy and bring justice to the family.. the only eyewitness to the whole crime was a waitress and she was difficult piece of cake because she took money from the assasin.. to bar herself from getting testified
ho hmmm!! and the movie is full of those car chases, those foul mouthed language seems the dialogues came as it own.. no toil was required for it.. Vanessa Williams didnt have much to act in this movie . Movie was basically a typical jackson types with those gang lords and cops having that round of gun fires in any crowded place they please.
Action in the movie is good to watch and samuel l jackson looked tall and good..
Can be seen once because Im a great fan of samuel
