Shah and Anchor Kutchhi Engineering College

Hi all,

I read whatever tech.keeda has written about Shah and Anchor.I can understand that there has been something wrong with him during his college days, but my friend every college has the same problems.You cannot find a perfect college, you are supposed to make it.I am a recent pass out from the college and things have changed a lot from good to gr8.

I wont say that what ever you said about the college is wrong.I totally agree with what you have said about the clerks.But Prof. Bairi is actually a gr8 guy.In tech.keeda’s post he wrote that Mr. Bairi doesnt know anything about IT and Computers.That is wrong!!!!!.He knows almost everything in software and he is a really a brilliant person in the fields of Image Processing and Robotics.This is what I discovered during my project work.He is a very disciplined guy , I think this is the quality which we wouldn’t like in our teachers ;).The only thing he hates is delay in work.He wants punctuality.He cares a lot about his students, trust me    a lot !!!!!.I agree that he sometimes makes mistake in few of the lessons but its human to make mistakes.Those are really small mistakes and should be overlooked.Our batch is blessed that we had a HOD like Mr. Bairi.One more thing which tech.keeda wrote was about freshers teaching us subjects which they dont know.This used to happen before but thankx to Prof. Bairi every teacher that comes to teach are really helpful.They actually have in depth knowledge of the subjects and are kind enough to sort out your problems.

Let me list the good side of the college:

1. The college is strict about timings.

   
   




2. The college has excellent teachers.They are very friendly.

   
   




3. The college library is really gr8.You will get any kind of software, electronics and civil engineering related books.

   
   




4. The college has an e-library.

   
   




5. The college has gr8 labs.One of the very colleges who has a real SCARA robot.The college has labs specially meant for wireless programming.

   
   




6. Every class room has a projector which is meant for presentations.We had project for every subject so that really helped us learn those subjects.And presentations actually helped to develop our communication skills.

   
   




7. The canteen is gr8.The only thing is this that you are not supposed to write assignments in the canteen which is fair enough.

   
   




8. The college has an annual fest comprised of both Technical, Cultural and sports.I loved the technical fest of my college then any other college’s tech fest.We have robotics competition, programming contest, air shows, water rocket shows.We have too much of football activities in our college.So no issues with sports.

   
   

These fest activities are conducted under the guidance of Prof. Kotak.Thankx to this guy we have learned Event Management.Rest of the stuffs which tech.keeda wrote about him, actually I am not aware of that.

1. Campus interviews are gr8.Companies like Wipro, L&T, TCS, AMDOCS, MBT, Syntel etc etc......

   
   




2. Almost 70% of the students from every department gets above 60% (including all semesters).

etc. There are so many gr8 thing about this college.And one more thing we have Alumni.

This college is gr8 with few cons(which every college has) and I recommend you to join it.And one more thing again for tech.keeda , friend the college has changed.
