I start by admitting that Shahrukh Khan is not great-looking.Also, he is not a great actoralways.Nor is he a superb dancer.But then, how has he ruled Bollywood for some 15 years.The answer is that SRK has all the qualities of any good actor.He is average-looking, can act well when required to.His dancing too is passable at most times.But what comes across as greatness in my eyes is his willingness to learn.He appears to be a humble man generally.
He is often like putty in the hands of even the greenhorn director.He is willing to do different types of characters, he is willing to experiment, to take risks.He has never been a loudmouth, pompous star.Rather, he thanks his destiny often for his success and really recognises its fragility for what it is.You see a certain Big B was the darling of the masses.Badshah Shahrukh Khan is liked by both the plebians and the patricians.Indeed SRK is the chosen one because he has used his resources well.
He has always maintained good relations with the right directors and hey presto!The best films have fallen into SRK’s kitty.Another thing that impresses me about SRK is this.He is very real, very approachable at least apparently.Unlike some other stars the same SRK, who is never larger than life speaks to us from the big screen & small.He doesn’t have to fake any accents or act altruistic.He was born with his sophistication & polish.SRK has many many great years ahead of him.Here’s to him and Chak De Shahrukh!
