As we all know shahrukh has been one of the few actors with no other background but has got this fame and popularity only owing to the hard work and effort he has put into acting.
Shahrukh entered into acting with his superb role in TV serials Fauji , Circus and after that has done a little over half century movies.
With very good movies like Darr, Baazigar, DDLJ, Pardesh, Koyla, Dil Sey (I liked this one a lot), Mohabattein, Ashoka, Kal ho na ho, Swadesh, Veer Zaara .... and lot more. If we look into these movies it is very obvious that all have a very different role and different kind of story but what makes them common is the looks of shahrukh in all these movies. Its hard to accept but if one thinks you would see Shahrukh in Ashoka no different from him in any other movie.
Shahrukh looks the same in all roles. If we compare him with all the other actors although being a better actor and a better human being what is different in them is their ability to adapt to the role. I dont want to compare shahrukh with others but just want to point out the thing he lacks and if concentrated will be better..
Shahrukh khan looks the same sugar boy in all his role no matter if he is doing a Negative role(Darr).. A historic character (Ashoka)... A Patriotic role (Hey Ram/Swadesh)... and his normal as usual loverboy role (All his movies ...)
Of all the actors and movies I like Val Kilmers The Saint Where Val comes in about 10 different getups in the movie. In indian actors Kamal Hasan The greatness of this actor is he never looks alike in two different of his movies... Acting is not only acting but portraiting a different picture with the same canvas.
