On 6th feb 2011 My son and his wife had booked for a luxury sleeping coach at Rs.800/person for the journey starting from Madras to Bangalore.It was booked online and they were said to be in the bus at exactly 10.30 P.M.They followed instructions and the BUS THEY were SHOWED WAS A VERY OLD VEHICLE.It was not even fit to be run on any road.
After dilly-dallying for passengers the so called bus started.About one hour gone and the bus driver declared the Brake was not functioning.After about half an hour of rushing the bus as if it is going to collide or topple(as if it is the only option)the driver stopped the bus somewhere before Vellore and declared GOD was the one whom on that particular night saved the passengers.
RIGHT FROM THE BEGINNING THE BUS WAS NEITHER ROAD WORTHY NOR IT DID HAVE ANYTHING TO SAY IT’S A SLEEPER BUS WAS TOTALLY NOT TAKEN INTO ACCOUNT.
To cut the story short they with much difficulty reached Bangalore by some other costly option.They went to the SHAMA TRAVELS AND CLAIMED REFUND.After 3 hours of making them WAIT, THE B IN-CHARGE SIMPLY SAID HE HAD NEVER RECEIVED ANY REPORT THAT HIS BUS WAS HELD UP ANYWHERE
Well, they got refund alright after all.They lost a workday for which they rushed back, and the fellow in -charge suggested to them AT ONE TIME NONCHALANTLY suggested to GO TO CHENNAI AND GET THE REFUND.
I AM JUST THINKING ABOUT THE R.T.O.THIEF WHO GOT HIS MONEY AND SANCTIONED THE BUS WAS ROAD-WORTHY , THAT TOO, AS A LUXURY SLEEPER.I would like to know his name and , now, I AM praying to GOD that HE OR ONE OF HIS FAMILY SHOULD FACE ROAD MISHAP.
AS for SHAMA TREAVELS IT SEEMS THEY WOULD be willing to LICK SOMEBODY’S (i know that SOMEfellows will be prepared to DO THAT HAPPILY AS LONG AS THEY GET SOME MOOLAH.)
