Had the most harrowing experience with Shama Sardar Travels Friday last. I had booked a ticket from Chennai to Bangalore that was scheduled to arrive at Poonamallee at 11pm but the bus did not arrive until 12.45am! The numbers of the travel operator provided did not work. Finally found one operational number. The person responding on the other number was very rude and kept cutting our calls when we enquired if and when the bus would arrive.
The address provided as a boarding point was of a travel office that was closed and we were again clueless as to whom to contact. Finally to my dismay, a Shama Sardar travel bus arrived but it wasn’t the one I had booked my ticket in (multi-axle). They somehow accommodated me in the bus and I had to contend with a seat near the end of the bus despite having booked a seat in the very front.
