Though I love all the super hit songs in the album, I’d like to focus on just 2 songs, 1. ’ A Party For Two’ & 2. ’That Don’t Impress Me Much’.
In ’A Party For Two’ ( With Billy Currington), Shania is at her Flirting & Teasing, Coquettish & Persuasive Best. In that Music video catchy song, we meet the Real Shania who is strong but playful, believing in & demanding respect for the ’Woman In Her’. She transmits her playful & romantic attitude. What a Robust Female Confidence & sensuality equal to that of a guy! How highly energetic with unmistakable cravings for youthful daliance, love of life & love-life!

Shania takes no guy as Genius (sorry BG, she doesn’t know you!) & she knows they’re all ’just a regular original’ may be, ’a know all’. What one has to have to impress Shania? Listen to her:
’Got the BRAIN of a Rocket-Scientist, or the LOOKS of Brad Pitt, or the BRAWNS & MOVES of a car-lover or the COOLNESS of a guy like Elvis, or something, WHATEVER!’ ? They do impress her but not much! These attributes don’t make them anyone special. They’re alright but she asks ’Do they have the TOUCH to keep her warm in the middle of the night?’That matters her most !
How plain, bold, unabashedly most forthright in telling what ’The Woman In Her’ wants in the ’Man In Her Boyfriend’!
IV.Conclusion:
These Songs have a special eternal appeal. ’If Life without Music is a Mistake’, then, ’Life without Shania’s Music is a Sin!’
What do her songs & music appeal to? Ears? Hearts? Minds? No! Baser-instincts? Never.
