A Country Shania

This is Shania Twains self titled debut album and it is amazing. I had been used to shania’s pop sound and then I got the older albums. The first time I hear this album I just though....wow how country is this.

This is tha album that got me liking country music. There are only 10 tracks on the album and it’s only half an hours worth of listening. Shania only wrote one of the dongs on the album ’’god aint gonna get you for that’’ . It was recorded and released in 1993 in nashville.

The songs on the album are:

What made you say that

You lay a whole lot of love on me

Dance with the one that brought you

Still under the weather

God aint gonna get you for that

Got a hold on me

There goes the neighbourhood

Forget me

When he leaves you

Crime of the century.

My favourites are her first single ’’what made you say that’’ and ’’god aint gonna get you for that. I think this album is great but I much prefer ’’come on over’’ from 1998
