The great mystery writer of present day Sh. Surender Mohan Pathak sir is known as Principal, Teacher etc. of Pulp-fiction Novels. Pathak Sir writing in Pulp fiction industry since 50 consecutive years. His name is on the top level in the World of Pulp Fiction. He had written nearly 300 novels including nearly 60 novels in Thriller genre.
Now today I am talking about his classic novel “Shaq Ki Sui”. No one ever forgot this novel because of its unique specification. The main specification of this novel is “Diwan Kailash Nath”, retired lawyer. He is in lead role hero of age of 74. Pathak Sir did a fantastic and awesome experiment by creating Diwan Kailash Nath as main protagonist.
Diwan Kailash Nath was approached by Inspector Maheshwari to know about the Will of Mr. Amarjeet Khurana. Amarjeet Khurana was a friend and client of Diwan Kailash Nath. He died due to taking poison in his Rum in a party in Farm House of Vasant Vihar. The party was temporarily held at Vasant Vihar Farm House. In that sort of party, Amarjeet Khurana was with his Wife Saloni Khurana, his daughter Kiran Khurana, his business partner Anurag Raina, His business partner wife Tripti Raina and his daughter future husband Anil Mehra. After the thoroughly examination of murder site, Police team deducted that the poison is found in all 6 glasses. Amarjeet Khurana died and other 5 person hospitalized.
Diwan Kailash Nath asked some question from Inspector Maheshwari. Maheshwari stated that Mr. Amarjeet Khurana resisted all to go to Vasant Vihar Farm house. Vasant Vihar Farm House was belonging to Anil Mehra uncle. Diwan Kailash Nath gave a prediction to Inspector Maheshwari that all 5 persons were involved in this murder. The weakest link amongst them will be murdered soon. The one, who survived himself till last, will be the real murderer.
After lot of hard work and suggestion to all 5 persons, Maheshwari warned them to not being together. All 5 persons Saloni Khurana, Kiran Khurana, Anurag Raina, Tripti Raina and Anil Mehra were again meet at Faridabad Farm house. Then one more murder happened. Then again one more murder happened. Then again…… again…… till the last one survived.
Inspector Maheshwari asked to Diwan Kailash Nath for the help in this investigation.

The starting of this novel is awesome and familiar. The novel goes very well till the poison episode not started. During the poison episode, the pen of Pathak sir is at the top level of novel. Poison taken by everyone but one got the death penalty of fortune. Pathak sir created lot situation which looked like Final Destination style with the one difference that who will be murdered. You can’t accept the murder of that person who murdered. The mystery, suspense and thrill are composited in one novel and these are available on every page. Pathak Sir created a real page-turner novel.

A very well narrated and written novel which plot is large but characters are limited. Pathak sir not given freedom to Diwan Kailash Nath for investigation. Inspector Maheshwari helped him a lot and on each step. It can be also vice-versa. The condition and environment on the Faridabad Farmhouse is narrated in such manner that gives places to Pathak sir in the best mystery writer of India. You can’t predict what will happen next. If you think this, that will be happened. An Indian phrase is very suitable for this novel prediction “I thought about mango but got tamarind.”
Apart from all above 5 characters which was directly or indirectly related to deceased were eliminated one by one. So I can’t figure out the characterization of these persons. The conversation between Mr. Diwan Kailash Nath and Ms. Maini is very witty and full of humor. You can’t miss their conversation. The Climax of this story is very beautiful and positive.
