Sharda University has spent lot of money on ads and I am sure you must have seen those. They advertise as if it is heaven here. Well, when you come here, they still maintain this image but once you have paid the fee, nightmare starts!
Education is fine. Teachers are well experienced and some are great at teaching.
But the biggest problems are management and security.
Management: Management here know only one thing: Getting as much students as possible to take admission. This year, more than 300 students have been admitted in Mechanical Trade alone. There are about 200 in Computer Science and 100 in I.T. Second, they do have rooms but not enough professors, so for a week, 180 students were sitting in a classroom for 120 people. Imagine 3 students sitting on 2 chairs and you get the picture!
Security: Private Security guards have become a fashion these days and Sharda is following the same! The problem? Well, they provide anything but security. Normally, the only job guards do is opening the gates for vehicles and saluting the officials. Since August, there have been at least 2 incidents when there was fighting between 2 groups and guards were standing aside holding there Walkie-Talkies! Even worse, a girl was bitten by some outside boys and nobody did anything. When she went to director, she was asked to "write an application". There is 0 security here and anyone can be beaten by any insider or outsider anytime!
Overall, I will not Sharda to anyone because only thing it is good at is spending money on advertisements!
