I checked out SharedGreetings.com today.
The site loaded quickly and the layout was quite easy to get around in. The colors were nice as well.
I found many, many different cards to choose from. Some were animated, some were not and there were also postcard greetings to choose from too.
I went right over to birthday greetings (cause my sister’s BD is coming up) and found a really cute animated card. I personalized it, and off it went..........
....And now comes the special part of this E-greeting card site.
For every card you send from this site, you are entered in a sweepstakes to win a prize, that you can choose from a list of about 10 different ones.(And, if you win, the recipient of the card also wins the same prize!)
Neat idea. Good advertising ploy as well.
You can sign up(Free and easy!) to use the sites other features also. You can enter names and E-mails of people you know and their birthdays, anniversaries, etc into an address book. From there it gets entered on your personal calendar so you never miss sending a card.
You can go to a section called my sweeps where a running list of the sweepstakes you entered is kept. Next you can go to The winners circle, to check out who has recently won some of the sweepstakes.
Even if you don’t sign up to become a site member, you can send as many cards as you like and enter the sweepstakes each time.
On the side of the home page, there is also a monthly calendar, showing every holiday for the year.
So far, I’ve used this site a few times, sent the cards(which arrived exactly on the day I selected!)but haven’t won anything. =(
But, the sites kind of nice. I’ll use it again, even though there are other E-card sites with a bigger selection. I go back and forth between E-card sites because, like on SharedGreetings.com, there is always something new.
