Worst ever service on Sharp Refrigerator

I was using Sharp Refrigeraror SJ-PK68G-BK, a high end and higher capacity model.


It stopped working on 14.02.2018. I raised the service complaint on the same day and my ticket number is


ID 8B14-3351 9CHSCIC-4772885


Believe me the complaint was finished only on 29.03.18 after about one and a half month.


Till then it was under breakdown.


The service agency was Jeeves and they in turn allotted to one local company called icon technologies.


First one guy came after 10 days of my complaint and regular daily phone follow up and he charged inspection charges of Rs.570/- and no receipt given. He said it will come by SMS and will get adjusted in final bill.


No SMS and no adjustment in final bill. Probably he must have pocketted.


He took the PCB for checking and said it is to be replaced. Asked for quote on SMS or mail, no response and returned the board.


Again I was calling these Jeeves helplessly.


Few mails to Sharp complaint cell and was attended by one Mr. Arafat and I used to get standard reply that " we will look into it" I don’t know what they did and there is no reply fro them of what action they were taking.


One fine day after regular follow up the local agent could send me a single line reply that PCB cost will be Rs. 9360/- plus service charges Rs. 510/-.I asked them for model number or else asked them to confirm if the PCB is for my fridge.


No response. I took a chance to confirm the order without knowing, as otherwise, I have to scrap my fridge.


Again they took about 15 days and in the meantime, they were asking me to book seperate complaint to order and all nonsense talks.


Finally they completed on March 29th.


This has also happened to me for earlier complaint about 4 years ago when it was in guarantee period and at that time they took about three months. I thought they might have improved but now I came to knoe they seldom care customers.
