I bought a sharp microwave oven from Singapore and found to my bad luck lot of problems with the touch key pad. The keys will get locked every month, as one part called rubber connector will catch moisture and would need cleaning by petrol for removal of moisture. Earlier they forced me to buy the fresh key pad which I did and spent 50%(of the equipment cost) on purchasing a spare keypad. This was unnecessary as later they found the culprit was rubber connector.Thus I SUFFERRED BECAUSE OF WRONG DIAGNOSIS. Their local service agents were again Kalyani Sharp Ltd. They co-operated by servicing but pointed out the difficulty in getting the right part. They in turn contacted Sharp, Singapore and Japan for the right part. It is over a year and the part has still not arrived. Kalyani Sharp have expressed helplessness. I take a microwave oven every month/or two to the repair centre for bandage I do not know when I will get the rubber connector. I am waiting for the godot to get the microwave repaired. So much for Sharp
