I bought Sharp Microwave Oven only because all my family members abroad have the same and are happy with its performance.Choosing a brand is a very difficult proposition. I am glad I got it as I have been using it extensively. I limit my cooking time by cooking the cut veg.in it before tempering or currying. Bake cakes and use the grilling to get a crusty top layer.Roast papads and nuts, soften hard butter before spreading on toast. Steam idlis etc etc.Thaw frozen non-veg in a jiffy. The uses are unlimited. I got the micro-grill hoping to make crispy cutlets and kebabs but found grilling takes a lot of time.
When guests arrive, you dont have to be in the kitchen all the time, just place the food in porcelain dish, heat and serve immediately. Like everyone else I use it to heat the food extensively. It is fairly easy to use, and easy to clean as it has a steel cavity. It has a metal tray and hence easy to handle.If you get used to micro-ovens its difficult to do without it. Microwave oven is an asset.
Go ahead and buy it.
I recommend Sharp as I hear it emits the least amount of radiation when in operation.
