Sharp@service, Sharpcards

An e-commerce real paper greeting card company, shipping world wide, serves public and corporates. Sharpcards’ expertise lies in the paper greeting card industry, web technology, e-tail, marketing, customer service and real-time fulfillment.

You can have greeting cards sent to your friends or relatives directly from the website (they sell stamps too). What’s more, they even have a fabulous scribe who hand write any personal message that makes the card personalized. Alternatively, you can have them delivered to your place if you want to write yourself.

Incorporated in January 2000, Sharpcards’ aim is to be the definitive card shop for any occasion on the World Wide Web. Stocking the largest range of quality cards anywhere in the world, Sharpcards is able to provide excellent services to compliment card sending and giving

Built by one of the largest European development agencies, Framfab UK, Sharpcards invested heavily in the R & D, design and build of its site. Thousands of man hours went into the development. A team of five consulted and 10 programmers built the site logic over the course of 18 months. Turner Duckworth, logo designers of Amazon and eBookers, created the look and feel.

Accordingly the site is robust and scaleable to enable it to keep up with the advances in Internet technology. To ensure complete customer service, Sharpcards runs its own fulfillment service from its premises. Aspin Management has integrated bespoke accounting software from its Amsolve System to run between the web site and the back office. This software also allows real time stock updating so that when a card reaches a pre-determined stock level it automatically disappears off the web site – this ensures 100% of orders can be shipped the same day. Customer Service enquiries are very low as a result and real time online chat service makes the interaction with the company all the more enjoyable. Knowledgeable support representatives are online round the clock to assist you on your stay at sharpcards.com

Sharpcards display designs from over 60 greeting card publishers (more than 3 times most dedicated high street card shops).

Exclusive online relationships include Hanson White (American Greetings), The Art Group and Hotchpotch

The Range of Greeting Cards available is a key aspect to Sharpcards’ business. The number 1 priority for avid card buyers is the range of cards they have that includes invitations, boxed postcards, CD cards, cards for different religions, ethnic and even divorce cards. They also stock a few gift items too but their bread and butter is earned through the greeting card segment. They also have mobile greeting cards available only for UK customers and a free e-greetings site for customers around the world.
