Popularly knowns as Shashi kapoor but real name was Balbir Prithiviraj Kapoor.
Born on 18 march 1938
He appeared in 168 films majorly in Hindi films and rest like English and others.
He was awarded with Padma Bhushan in 2011 and
Dadashaheb phalke award in 2015
Well his first film was Dharmputra in 1961
and retired from acting in 1998 after his final appreance in Jinnah.
