I am a frequent Shatabdi traveller from Pune. Shatabdi kept inviting me in the early days due to its reliblity. You could just take a bag and leave no need to check the timing as its mostly on time or even prepare a meal cuz they serve one. Now that was the ’Good ol days’ The current situation is just getting worse with every trip. First they removed the juice they used to give for breakfast. Then they removed the jelly which was the main component and replaced it with a puny chocolate (which they are probably being supplied at lower rates) But what do they expect us to do with the chocolate, you cant put it on the bread with butter and call it breakfast ! The dinner quality was already bad, now they are cutting corners there too ! They removed the gulab jamun which was supposed to be the sweet with some aloo to add in the main dish leaving no sweet. I don’t know what is causing them to cut these corners. Maybe the shift of government Or just the usual degrade the second to make first better.
