Yesterday, 22nd, April 2024, I boarded morning Shatabdi (12006) (Chandigarh to New Delhi) and returned by 12045 on the same day. It’s not now a prestigious train in India, moreover it’s shocking, that the train become a “shukar bazaar” vendor selling snacks, noodles, and other foodstuff disturbing the peace of mind of passengers. The most surprising thing was when a beggar boarding from Ambala (UMB) in coach no C9 started bagging where the doors were auto-locked. Above all the quality of the food being supplied to the passengers has an inferior experience and the supply of material was abysmal keep waiting for a long time. On my return by 12045 cCE-1 the food that I was served during the journey was fresh and hygienic moreover, the quality was very short (Chicken pieces in a dish were hard to find) couldn’t consume that food at all. Shatabdi is the best train in India and it’s supposed to be flawless with the amount they charge, the train was 0.45 hours late and reached the destination at 11:30 PM while it was supposed to reach at 10:30 pm. There is no value of time given by Indian Railways. It’s Pathetic and disappointing. It’s my earnest request to the Ministry of Railway to take care of the train, in anticipation of your kind consideration in this regard,
