I grew up in this area and never went to this place as a kid/college student. Too unhygeinec. Then I traveled a bit and got this hygeine stuff out of my head (not sure if thats a good thing, but whatever). The food is not bad. Its not a 5 star place, but if you really have a craving for chinese food its good.
I also like the fact that they have half-plates so you can sample and mix different items if you like.
Service, if thats what it is, is almost non-existant. They almost plonk your food on your table and walk away. But then thats what its all about. And try not to peek in the kitchen, it is a bad sight.
Crowd: This is mostly Ruia/Podar crowd, some VJTI people and some local kids. Everytime I’ve been there (lunchtime, late evenings) this place is packed. I really wonder why they cannot clean it up once in a while though.
