This time, I’m talking about Sheshnaag. I thouroughly enjoyed the movie. So what if the movie has some hilarious and horrible scenes like...
...Dad and Madhavi Auntiji wearing black and gold, blue and silver outfits with their hands folded to form hood of snakes, dancing and flying here and there with their tongues coming out.. (Dad used to scold me and Tusshky when we used to show our tongues to each other...)
...Rishi Uncleji is made to act like a village idiot and simpleton, who is very very dumb and his name is Bhola and is a devotee of Lord Shiva, and all he does the whole day is playing his flute and making friends with the animals of the forest.
...Rekha Auntiji’s name is Champa and is Bhola’s sister and Anupam Uncleji’s wife. Anupam Uncleji keeps on drinking and once in gambling he looses everything, even his wife to his friend, and when he tries to rape Rekha Auntiji, she runs away and tries to commit suicide.
...As Bhola had saved Dad and Madhavi Auntiji from cruel Danny-Aghori-Denzongapa, Madhavi Auntiji takes shape of Rekha Auntji and becomes Rishi Uncleji’s guardian. Here, Rekha Auntiji wears heaviest jewelry and keeps my Dad as the servant in their house. Now, why does their home have metal snakes in all shapes and sizes?? Just to prove that its a house of Icchadhari Naags and Naagins?
...Whenever Dad and Rekha Auntiji/Madhavi Auntiji dance in human form, they have snake hoods on their body, anywhere and everywhere.. like, on forehead, on their head like a crown, with 10 metal hoods, on their arms, on their shoulders, on their waist.. Did they suffer from Identity crisis??
...I will never forgive my father for calling dirty names to Dannyji like Aghori.. So what if Dannyji wants to kill all the snakes to find Icchadhari Naags and Naagins so that he can get the treasure and he can become immortal. So what if he drinks bowls of poison.. which evidently is green in colour and I presume it to be Khus Sharbat in water...
...Towards the climax, there is supposed to be a Lunar Eclipse so that Dannyji can become immortal, and the Eclipse takes place at a speed of 150 kmph.. within fraction of second, the moon is covered!! and it also gets over that the same speed!!
...When Dannyji becomes immortal, he lifts up the Cardboard idol of Lord Shiv and throws it towards my Dad.. And the idol flies in a straight line for a mile and then rests itself on a flat stone and turns itself and speaks to my Dad that because, Dannyji had the Trishul in front of him when the immortal rays fell on him, he is not totally immortal. So Rishi Uncleji takes up the Trishul and kills him by attacking the part which was vulnerable.. And amazingly, the cardboard idol lifts itself up and flies back to its original place.
...I forgot to mention Manakini Auntiji and Raza Muradji.. Rishiji falls in love with Mandakiniji, who is daughter of rich businessman Razaji, who trades animals’ skin.. (Dannyji used to sell the skin of all normal snakes he caught to him) Oh and By the way, Rishiji makes a fool of himself whenever he comes into the frame.. with kajal in his eyes, he has blown himself and he must be drunk whenever he speaks those annoying dialogues.. ’’Woh toh na pari thi, magar uske pankh woh rakshas ne kaat liye honge..’’, or ’’Bhole nath, Bhole nath, yeh log aapke bhakto ko maar rahein hai.. mein bhi aapka bhakt hoon na, mein unko bacha lunga.. aap pareshan mat hoiye’’
After seeing this film, I have come to a decision that my next movie will be based on Icchadhari Naag-Naagin and My brother Tusshky will be in the lead role of Naag and I will make a love triangle.. with Kareena Kapoor and Esha Deol as Naagins.. Both, Tusshky and Esha will be in love with Kareena Kapoor.. or was it supposed to be the other way round? And the title will be Kahaani Naag-Naagin Ki and instead of Bindaas this movie will have Hiss, Hissssssss
