If you really like your furniture or if you have some expensive stuff( like a fairly new fridge or Washing Machine) please do not go with them.
I am listing down the reasons here, it should help anyone who plans to go with them
They do not give the complete picture during your initial meetings. Slowly they would bring different parameters and variants of their service and finally you would end up paying almost 60-100% more than the initial quotation. They would recommend you to go for the Foam wrap variant but trust me its just an eye wash your prices would increase up to 50% higher without any considerable benefit.
They generally outsource to some smaller companies( in case they have multiple orders for the day). At least my experience with their group has been really bad. The employees are really rude and do not give a damn about your preference. The original "SHIFT MY GHAR" representative would be completely missing for our case his phone was also not reachable. The shiftings guys placed an entire dressing table unit( made of solid wood) on my Washing Machine and we really had to argue with them to get the positions changed.
Incase you have opted for the FOAM WRAP, which they tell is the safest wrapping option - they would have insufficient materials and most of your furniture would be having only 50% of its body protected by Foam. Basically its useless . Not to mention they do not cover the legs of any furniture and the mattresses would lying directly on the lorry’s trunk without any cover!
Now the after shifting part - Lots and lots of scratches, some of my wooden furniture got chipped real bad. Even while moving in due to their incapability they chipped the doors of my new home as well. They initially told they would fix these issues getting a carpenter but did nothing.
Payment - They give a " kaccha bill - handwritten" and would demand payment only in cash wheres in the initial discussion they would agree for online transfer. They would add completely new charges into the bill which you would know only after they show you the bill.
In short they are unproffesional and not worthy. There are plenty other alternatives go with them.
