I visited shillong in last week. And I was ashtonished by the beauty of the nature in shillong.the weather is so soothing.the mountains and the water bodies makes this place a true tourist destination.the roads r good however in some places u will find bad roads also. However u have to reach the proper town called police bazar to find any hotel.there is no hotel at the outskirt of the city.the people r so fun loving although as I heard there is also a risk of local tribals..there are many tourist spot such as borapani lake, elephant falls, shillong view point etc.and for it’s beauty it’s called Scotland of east.
