Starring in a film with SHAHRUKH KHAN and KAJOL and leaving an impact is an arduous task .But Shilpa pulled it up in BAAGIZAR with memorable performance .Infact her performance in that film was far better than KAJOL though she had a miniscule role ! But after a great start her career went downhill thanks to unmentionable films but thankfully DHADKAN changed that !
The energy, emotions and emotional energy that Shipa Shetty poured into her performance must be seen to be believed. She is one of those rare bollywood who has ruled the glamour industry for so long .It has been almost 16 years she has acted in Bollywood but it seems as if she is a new kid on a block with same level of energy and enthusiasm ! Surviving in this crude industry without any hits or big banner is not an easy task but Shilpa has been able to that . And of the late , she is truly going from strength to strength with every new release and more importantly she has started to experiment with her roles and it shows with her choice of roles .It is hard to be believe after watching DUS that this is the same actress who shines in role of AIDS patient in touching PHIR MILENGE .More importantly , she is one of those actress who is down to the earth even after being star .And her performances in recent films have prove that she is bundle of untrapped talent who hs not get her proper amount of recognization despite doing some great roles .
Considered as an item girl by many , I always knew that she could act ! No second thought on that she has great body but there is more to her than that ! She has magnetic personality which is so rare in other Bollywood actress .She can do shorts of role but it is sad that film makers are not aware of this power house of talents .
The reasons for which she is way behind those so called numero UNO actress is that she does not believe in politics and People often misunderstand her attitude to be indifference to her career.
That explains why other actresses with half her talent and beauty have raced ahead .
