I visited Shimla with my family during new year. It was a wonderful trip we enjoyed a lot there, it was the perfect time to visit there. On the very first day when we reached there, snowfall happened. It was a mesmerising moment because for the first time we saw snowfall, so the weather became more pleasant.
And as it was the time for new year, whole mall road and other places were decorated with lights and every thing was covered with snow which looked very beautiful. We went to kufri, there we did horse riding and sat on yak, played with snow. One must visit this place as you will have a lot of fun there.
Then mall road is another place where you can have variety of food and snacks which are very tasty. And if you love handicrafts then it is a best place to shop there. The items are available at affordable prices. As rainfall is frequent there so you have to be very careful because the roads become so slippery and there is a chance for injuries.
Hotels are available easily and affordable prices. You can book the rooms on the spot also if you have not done any advance booking. At last its a beautiful place, you must visit there at least once.
