Shine.com is a SCAM

It’s a Scam, I have made a fool of myself and made a payment totaling 149, 971.01/- Rs

Shine.com: is running a scam where they are hiding the charges for the services, and once you pay for one service, they will keep asking for more money for more services. I have become the victim of this scam, and the details of the payments I made are below:

7th Payment: 39276/-

Service name:

1. Master in Leadership and Strategy Certification Test

3. Professional Summary

At first, Shine.com: didn’t tell me about more payments. After I paid the first time, they kept sending more payment requests, making it feel like a never-ending thing. Sadly, I got caught up in it, thinking that if I paid more, they’d guide me to a good, high-paying job.

When I didn’t want to pay for extra things, Shine.com: said the process couldn’t go on without those payments. And they made it clear that I couldn’t get a refund for the money I already paid. So, I felt like I had no choice but to keep paying to not lose the money I already put in.

Shine.com: is using a loophole in the government law to trick people. To break it down, what is a SCAM? A scam is when you pay for something, but you don’t get what you were told you would. This company claims to offer big services, like the ones I mentioned earlier, and you can see them on your Shine dashboard as well. However, there won’t be any help from any service; no one will contact you for anything.

But here’s the important part they seem to have overlooked: there are government laws that stop this kind of tricky behavior, I have mentioned that thing below.

Result: Shine.com: has a clever system to trick people into giving them money. After looking into it, I found out that many others have been scammed too. Now, I really want my money back, and I’ll do whatever it takes. These dishonest people don’t seem to get that we’re just regular middle-class folks, and this money was hard-earned. I was saving it to get out of debt. If you see this and have been scammed too, reach out to me at ukanilaxxxxxxx@gmail.com

The person who contacted me his name is RK Shahu, termed as a Relationship Manager of mine and his number through IVR is+91 803524xxxx

P.S: I am writing this complaint in various different complaint forums and websites and also the government portal, so I will be attaching the government law which I found out and stats that whatever has happened it is a clear violation of the law and makes this whole thing fall under SCAM, and also I will be attaching the payment I have done to shine.com which operates under HT Media Limited.

If you can’t see the proof, it means that this website or portal does not support uploading document
