Shine.com, like its competitor Naukri.com perhaps has the worst selection of job vacancies in the Indian market. Before signing up, you will be lured by promises of job vacancies in top IT MNCs, CMMI level 5 companies, but in the end, your inbox will be flooded with job vacancies from call centres(BPOs) and RPOs.
Shine.com also offers professional certification courses. Please don’t use this website to enrol in such programmes. They quote a very low price on their website. But after signing up and paying the fees, you will get a call from their executive saying that you haven’t paid the complete fees. You have to pay 20K more. They will threaten to keep your course inactive if you don’t pay the additional amount. Upon asking for a curriculum and prospectus, they will refuse to hand it over to you saying that there are no such documents related to your course. But before enrolling in such programmes, they will make false promises that they will hand over these documents, but ultimately they won’t. They are a bunch of cheaters. Sad.
And their customer service is like their website. Totally unreliable.
