I’m Aditya. Detailing for your reference the Flow of events that took place.
Call received from Shine.com on 27th Jan 2023 morning for Resume highlighting service - Paid Rs. 3675/- and enrolled the same.
Later they assigned my profile to Schedule a call with Mr. Mr. Pankaj Anand(Ph No - 08035241859)
a. Career Assessment test with Expert counselling - Rs. 7434/-
b. Job Profile verification+ Professional summary - Rs. 16035/-
c. Education verification+ Job Interview assistance - Rs. 23576/-
At each of the steps he told me that this will be the last amount that I should be paying and I need not pay any more. I ended up paying a Total of Rs. 50, 720/-. He has not disclosed the total amount to be paid by me even after asking him several times and neither he and his manager have confirmed the steps of enrollment in this at the beginning of the call.
Now after the 3rd Amount is paid, he raises a fresh invoice saying that until and unless you pay an amount of Rs. 28, 249/-(For job hunt) all the above services will be invalid and I will not be allowed for a refund.
From the beginning of the discussion he has not disclosed the total amount to be paid and at every step they misguided me that it was the last amount to be paid. Now, he and his manager say that either you pay the amount of 28, 249/- or the amount that I paid will not be considered for Job hunt.
This is totally unethical and fraudulent behavior. I do not wish to enroll for any of the schemes that I paid for since it does not fulfill the actual purpose - JOB hunting.
They were very rude when asked for a refund and said that I paid by myself and this is not a Fraud.
I would like to have a refund of the amount paid and I’m referring this incident to cyber cell.
