Yummy Shiok

After running some late night errands on a weekday I was very tired and hungry and fell upon this discreetly hidden restaurant by accident. It is tucked away in a two floor plain looking building which is easily avoidable.

Upon entry to the restaurant I was pleasantly surprised. The restaurant was small, yet the size added to its appealing warmth and coziness. It was elegantly decorated, with soft lighting and large windows overlooking the city, an ideal place to take a loved one for a romantic meal.

No reservations were necessary, I was immediately whisked off to a table and handed the food and drinks menu. Staff were very attentive and on hand to offer advice on the wondrous and foreign foods on the menu. I ordered Mee Goreng, absolutely delicious, beef curry with oyster sauce and rice. The food was not spicy, yet incredibly flavorsome. The portions were more than generous and the attentive waiters very kindly offered to pack any unfinished food.

The price of the food was average; it costs about 600 rupees for two people with generous portions, it  is much cheaper if you order a home delivery. Despite the cost, I would definitely visit Shiok again because I have not found a place in Bangalore that offers food as tasty as the food here. Yummy.
