One of the better restaurants in Bangalore

I am a regular visitor of Shiok; infact we were there on day 1 when this restaurant opened. It’s centrally located in the **CMH road, Indiranagar (next to CitiBank ATM, above Adayar Anada Bhavan & Planet M).

Parking - generally I have been lucky to find a parking in CMH road.

Decor - For lunch it’s fine, for dinner it’s a tad dull. The lounge is pretty comfortable and has limited seats. Generally the decor and furnishing is pretty comfortable and it is relaxing.

BAR - They have a good bar and serve great cocktails. Pretty good collection I would say. Mojito is my fav at this place. They make good bloody marry also.

FOOD -  They have Thai, Malay, Indonesian, Chinese in their menu. So mostly it’s oriental food.

Appetizers:     I like the crispy spicy vegetables for starters, drunken beef, Chicken satay,    beggar’s pouch  (veg).

Soups: Tom - Kha -  Vegetables boiled in Coconut milk is my fav, it has lots of lemon grass and    galanga so it is spicy.

Main course - I like the chilli fried rice and Thai red curry. The Pineapple fried rice is also very nice.

SERVICE : It’s pretty decent. Some times it can get on your nerves, when they keep hovering around your table**.

Portions -** Just sufficient for 2, and if both have good appetite then it’s not going to be enough.

Cost: Not very expensive in my opinion. By 2 Soup, 1 Appetizer, 1 Rice/Noodle, 1 side dish + 1 desert - will cost you close to Rs 600, which is pretty okay

It’s a good place to hang out with friends, have couple of drinks, have some appetizers and light dinner. Good way to spend a relaxing evening.
