TO ALL MY MS PEERS AND THE AUTHORITIES AT SCI, NARIMAN POINT OFFICE, MUMBAI.
The Indian National Flag is held in high esteem by all the Indians. Our soldiers be it from the Army, Air Force, Navy or para miltary have laid down their life to protect our country and our National Flag. Our Freedom Fighters have also laid down their life so that our country citizens live in peace.
Indian National Flag , when it is hoisted is always hoisted on a higher level than any other flag hoisted by its side. The Indian Air Force helicopters when on fly parade have the National Flag flying above the IAF flag. The Mumbai FireBrigade Headquarters at Byculla in Mumbai have the National Flag on higher level and the institution flag at a lower level.
BUT ... BUT --- the Shipping Corporation of India`s Head Office at Nariman Point has the National Flag and Their Institution Flag flying at the same level which is very very wrong. It is an insult to our National Flag. I have pointed out this to the Authorities by writing a letter but no rectification has been made.
Hope By this the SCI authorities will rectify the grave anamoly and I request all my MS peers to look around their cities and check whether our National Flag has been insulted in such manner.
I also collect the National Flags lying on the road after 15th August and 26th January. Therefore, I request all my MS peers to go around their cities after 15th August and 26th February and collect all the National Flags lying on the road, be it in the Garbage Bins also.
