Having worked in the Shipping Industry for an year, I was so happy when I got to know that the Shipping Corporation of India is recruiting young MBA Graduates for full time employment. I filled up the form and submitted fees of Rs 1000/- and started preparing for the exam.
Soon I have realized that this vacancy is important for me as it is paying good and exactly as per my choice. I was dreaming high but soon all my dreams were shattered when I went to Delhi for the exam. The examination was in Mayur Vihar Delhi and I have never seen such chaos in my examination hall ever. It was an online exam and right before 5 mins of the schedule start the internet of the center disconnected. We waited and the invigilator somehow managed to start the exam at 9.00 but right after 10 mins same thing happened again. The worst part is that it gave chance to everyone to tally their answer. Everyone except 5-10 serious candidates asked at least 20-20 questions and I immediately realized that my chances are less now.
I came home and immediately contacted the highest official through mail and phone calls and then realized it is same " Sarkari Daftar" as others are. You only get "Ashwasan" and nothing else.
I really felt cheated. Pathetic Experience
