When it comes to portraying crime on screen, its RGV who excels..
Its quite evident from the first of its kind Satya which was just a spectacular debut on the theme ..
Then came Company which is the stylish underworld story ever made in bollywood..
Followed Ab Tak Chappan which is again brilliant and very honest..
So, what s up with Shiva now?
Well, this one is definetly not a masterpiece but it has got some Factory trademarks in it...
The plot is old but the sceenplay n the action thrills keep you gripped..
I watched the movie with no expectations and I wud say its okay..
The first half hour is just a basic introduction of all the characters and it wont appeal much as there were better introductions in all factory plays..
The movie gains momentum when Shiva and John confronts each other and the story goes on..
There were a couple of scenes when the home minister talks with Shiva and Shiva’s encounter with the enquiry commision which are brilliantly conceived ..
To conclude, its the same old wine and the same old bottle but it doesnt fail to entertain..
If you are a factory lover, go for it..
If not, stay away as this may not impress you...
