Some months ago I visited shivneri fort with my friend. Its in rainy season. On this fort gods of marathas Empire, founder of hindvi swarjya chatrapati shivaji maharaj was born. This fort as like holy place for marathas. Very interesting & historical structure of this fort. There are many places on this fort to sea. All structure of this fort well maintained by ASI. Kamani majid, amberkhana, etc many places are well maintained to see. It keep very clean and not give todays construction materials finish government keep that very carefully as like when they maid before 400 years ago.Specially visit at this fort in monsoon or rainey seasons. You get beautiful nature and also give you historical knowledge about ancient peoples how they live and how they constructed such walls, temples.Its very adventures journey to visit this fort. Because of its well maintained condition we get easy to reach top at the mountains. We get steps to reach at the fort. In our way we can sea awesome example of defence doors, like elephant door, ganesh doors etc. Middle level at tje mountain we get fresh water from mountain its very cold and clean to drink. Mostly interesting fact is that we will get this fresh water at any season. Whether is heat or drought situation outside.We can take bus to reach shivneri fort or take own vehicle to reach there. If you want to visit that fort you can take bus from kalyan junction to junnar. After that you hire a driver for day he can take 300/400 rs from junnar bus stand to shivneri fort. Best place for trekking and hangout with friends and family. Hope you will enjoy a lot, must visit at once in coming monsoon or in vacation.
