I am so extremely pleased to write about this place, I went to stay with my wife for a few days. Its not one of those starred hotels, but I have always preferred quality. So I booked online based on the photographs. After I reached, I could not believe what I was getting at that price.
I could watch the valley straight out of my bed. The chirping of the birds, the moon hiding behind the clouds. lights glittering from distant houses. The silence. The staff was so humble and friendly. I have never seen people refusing tips, but they did so. The owner lives in his house next to the hotel. Their is a beautiful strawberry plantation. Its preferable to have your own vehicle, because its a little away from the main road on the way to Mahabaleshwar. But believe me, at this price, you wont get such a thing.
The Delux room is the best, it has what they show on the website. Before booking, I suggest that you call the hotel, they will guide you on how to get good discounts if you book through those tourism websites.
The food is not so great, but not bad either. Overall, I am happy, and can suggest it to couples seeking solace.
