Fear the Train as it might bring you the Pain

Shoaib Akhtar the name suggests that one should get ready with his batting kit even when playing with a tennis ball . When he gets ready for his run up the crowd cheers similarly when the Rawalpinidi Express moves its engines and people go berzek , Shoaib runs through the aisle , the Rawalpinidi Express starts racing it releases it smoke similarly Shoaib’s hair are falling at the back of his head and his run up is so fast that the dust is flying here and there . The Batsmen shivers and if someone is standing ifront of the railway track he might get the pain of the train BANG the person is dead , BANG the ball hits the Batsmen head he is dead for a second . Those aggressive eyes , that lizard devilish kind of look is enough to scare the hell out of the batsmen .

Shoaib without a doubt the most dominating , aggressive and the most of all the fastest bowler in the world today . Shoaib wanted to represent his country from day 1 , with in one hand were his books and in another hand was a leather ball , he was confused what to do ? then infront of the wall of his bedroom he saw the poster of the Great Imran Khan and he might have said within himself yes I would be the best bowler in the world .

Shoaib Akhtar burst onto the big stage in the 1999 World Cup with a long, hurtling run-up and blistering speed. His star status was sealed by a great flop of hair, a talent for show-boating and a vivid nickname - the Rawalpindi Express . The authorities twice sidelined him over throwing allegations and although his action was cleared, courtesy of hyperextensible joints and the University of Western Australia, injuries created fresh doubts over his international future. Shoaib’s amazing performance against Australia in Brisbane 2002 was 5 for 25 and 5 for 21 in Columbo also against Australia made his postion seal in the Team. The expections from him was at the top of the roof in the World Cup 2003 , but the came a bad time as he delivered a cropper in the Cup and Pakistan suffered defeats after defeats fans of the Pakistani cricket team were very dissapointed with his performance in the World Cup and the selectors dropped him off the team . It was the end of his career for the moment he looked upon his favourite bowler Imran Khan he always wanted to be Imran , from that day Shoaib came with more determination , focus , his will to win and came along more pace then later contoversies. Shoaib came back in the team and bought a mind blowing performance against New Zealand , he also left the field at a crucial stage of the third Test citing wrist injury and back pain, though neither injury seemed to bother him when he came out to bat later. Pakistan lost the Test, and Shoaib felt the heat, as his commitment to the game and his relationship with the captain and the team management came into question as well. The series began a period in which Shoaib’s career came under its gravest threat. Mutterings about his commitment were never far away and a difficult relationship with Inzamam and Bob Woolmer the coach didn’t make matters easier. He blew hot and cold in Australia, looking Pakistan’s most incisive threat for periods but also looking their most disinterested at other periods. A hamstring injury cut short that tour and a potpourri of fitness, commitment and attitudinal complaints meant he missed most of Pakistan’s cricket in 2005. But, inevitably perhaps, he came back against England, finishing with 17 wickets and providing, in Michael Vaughan’s words, the difference between the two sides.
