When Thommo bowled that 99+ miles per hr ball, he was not striving for that, he just went there bowled his natural delivery and it was fastest ball ever recorded. Now the Rawalpindi Express has this obsession to bowl at 100 miles per hour. This has brought down his downfall. He might look physically strong, but the whole world now knows that he is very fragile and is prone to injuries. He bowled 5 overs in his lst match at 97.5 miles per hour and was out of match for the next 90 overs.
He should by now understand that bowling fast is not the thing, bowling at a length and line is Mantra of success. Ask Walsh, Donald, Mcgrath and Shaun for better answers. And he doesnt seem to learn from his mistakes and he has this habit of projecting that he is injured and leaving the field every now and then.
All in all a BAD Cricketer who doesnt have a good head and only want to bowl very very fast. I guess, he would retire as soon as he bowls that 100 miles ball, because his shoulder would have been broken by that time.
