Two nights ago, some of my friends and me decided to hit Shockk for dinner. Since none of us had been there, we were a tad skeptical whether it would be a good place and whether or not we will get a table since it was a Saturday.
Regardless of our apprehension, we went there. Within 10 mins we were allotted a table by a warm and friendly host. The place look quite good. They have a nice bar and a cool lounging area. The dining area though didn’t quite live upto the expectations.
We called for some drinks and starters like Char Grilled Thai Spiced Chicken Skewers and Smoked Salmon to go with out wine. The starters were interesting. The Chicken was tender and the Salmom was cooked to perfection. For the mains, we called for Lamb Peri Peri, Spaghetti Bolognese and Char Grilled Rawas. I must say they cook their fish really well. The Rawas was delish and so was the Lamb Peri Peri. The Spaghetti wasn’t bad but it could not top the Rawas and the Lamb.
I loved the food and ambience here and I am planning to visit this place again, very soon.
