Shopclues is Indias first largest & worst managed marketplace. I have a terrible experience with this fraud company, which never fulfils all its promises. In the month of May 2013, I ordered a Havells Steam Iron, and when I received that, it had a manufacturing defect, and the company took more than a month to get it replaced, and the customer support team never updated with the reasons for the delay.
And right now, this company has debited the 62 credited cluesbucks, that you get once the product is shipped to you, without citing any reason, and now when I am asking the reason for it, they just simply say its an error from our end, and we will re-credit those cluesbucks within the next 24 hours. But to my amazement, 20 days have been passed, but still I am waiting for their 24 hours to complete.
Over the phone, they make false promises, and cites new reasons every time you call them, and the best part is that they never read your case log, and provide you with unnecessary explanation. In the past week I spoke with Brijesh, Ravi, Vaibhav, Anjali, Pooja, Shikha, and they all told me that the clues bucks will be credited to my account within the next 24 hours. And whenever I asked them to escalate the call to their seniors, they all told me that Ill be receiving the call from their seniors/higher management within the next couple of hours.
And even after 7 days past in this month, their couple of hours havent been able to complete. Heres a proper break down of events and what I understand with their so-called exceptional customer services. I believe merchants have no role in delivering products to their customers, as they have to abide by the shopclues policies. So I dont have anything negative about the merchant, but yes, Shopclues is undoubtedly the worst eCommerce Company of Indian origin.
As they dont value their customers and make false commitments. In my case, I ordered this steam iron on 18th May 2013, and got it shipped by 22-23rd May 2013. However, the product had a manufacturing defect, for which I asked Shopclues to replace the product, and they too did the same. And I returned my product on 30th May 2013, and the product was shipped to the company by 04 June 2013.
Once the product was returned I got no intimation from Shopclues whether they have received the returned product or not, and neither they told me when will I get the replaced product. And to know the status of my product, I had to call the customer support at least 50-60 times as they never read your emails and dont take any interest in listening to customers queries or problems.
At last, after waiting for twenty odd days, I spoke to Jogendra, senior customer support associate, Shopclues, and he promised me that I will get the product within two days time. However, that again didnt happen as promised, but at the end they delivered my product on 28 June 2013.
And, now theres another problem that I am facing with Shopclues and that is that they all are cheat. They have deducted the Cluesbucks from my account that I earned for this particular product, and its been almost a month since I have communicated with Sakshi, Pooja, Brijesh, Ravi, Vaibhav, Anjali, etc., via emails, and phone to get them re-credited to my account. But they all made false promises ample times and till today I am waiting to get them re-credited.
With all this, you can easily assume what kind of company Shopclues is running and how the CEOs or Marketing Head is managing the company to ensure best of services for their customers. As far as the ratings are concerned for Shopclues, Ill give them a -ve rating of 7 stars. They deserve it with all pride.
