Shopclues is the worst online shopping website and its customer care is the worst, too. They put a big discount on the website, I purchased an Aqua grand RO in 6000 Rs ( get more than 50 % discount) but when I received the product it was used one and very old, the body was filled up with scratches and dust was sticked inside the glass. Any one can say it is old one. The stickers were also leaving colours and torn off due to water.
i raised the complaint to customer care on the very same day (11th nov 2013) when i received the product, I gave them around 30 pictures of the product taken from different angel. They agree that this is a old product and will arrange a reverse pickup. But today it is 11th Dec 2013 more than a month but still they have not initiated the reverse pickup. Customer care is worst, i am calling them with in 2-3 days but every time I heard saying them it will take 24 hours to 48 hrs. Even I spoke to their manager, but still they don’t bother for reverse pickup. Further, when I am saying I want a new product not refund they are saying they don’t have the product. So, basically they are selling some used product which actual cost will not be more than 500-1000 rs. at the rate of 6000 rs ( the market price for the new product is 13000 rs) claiming it to be new. I also tell them i will make a complaint in theconsumer court. But they aren’t afraid for that. Every time I have to call them, they don’t bother to call us to update.
Further, on every call I asked what is the last update and always the last update was mine. So they don’t work actively on the tickets. I really want to do the complaint in consumer court, but still i have not done it might be I don’t want another headache putting lawyer. They also know that 99.999% of us don’t go to consumer court, this is why they are taking advantage of it.. They are not going to refund the money until they will not received the product back. On the other hand they are not doing any reverse pickup and taking interest on my money.
I have promised to myself that I will never do any transaction with shopclues in my life. Even I will not buy anything online. Its better to buy something from the shop by personal visit, this ensure the quality and reliability. Its more than a month and still this product is lying here in my house. Even they will initiate a reverse pickup today and I am not getting my money back before another month.
