I have ordered a Xiaomi power bank on shopclues and the same was delivered to me on 3rd Feb’15. But after through check I found its fake/not genuine product as I have done few tests/check as written on many website & even on xiomi official youtube channel.
Also compared it with my friends original which he bought from Flipkart and found below difference which are also written in many website including MI. -
the USB cable has MI branding whereas original doesn’t hv any branding. Also color of usb cable(internal) is white vs black in original
The original can charge itself & phone together whereas this one cant.
The original has MI.com written on back of power bank whereas this one has Xiomi.com - 4. while connecting charging port & phone charging port of power bank with one cable….its charge itself whereas original doesn’t. Pls send authentic products only.
I have registered the complaint and return request to Shopclues on same day but its been almost 15 days, I am yet to receive the replacement.
I think its shopclues strategy only to sell fake products at lower price and in rare case if any customer catch the difference/fake product, they keep silent instead of apologizing for the same and replacing it with original product.
Be aware.the most of product price you will find a significant difference versus other sites so pls be cautious while buying products at shopclues.com
