Information on customer support team

Got completely screwed up when I saw scattered pearls in place of blue pearl necklace that I ordered from Shopclues via order no. 1000778. Above on that, when contacted, they were requesting for sending them clicked images of that pearl necklace which has lost its shape of the necklace. My fury reached to cloud nine and I clicked the pics of those individual pearls and send to their customer support for an immediate replacement.


Readers, this was my first reaction for which everyone is entitled to do the same thing on my place. But I am writing this review about the admirable job of their customer support team. They handled my fury very patiently and even answered to all my sensible or senseless questions happily, unlike certain established e-commerce sites that don’t even have courteous staff to listen to your issues and reply without arrogance in the tone are devoid of basic manners and etiquette.


I was told that a defected product might have been shipped by the merchant or the product got damaged in the transit. Shopclues told me they will take an action against the defaulter after investigation and I was informed of the importance of clicked images within their rigorous process of investigations for returns. Just like a rule abiding citizen and understanding their situation, I sent the pictures and received a prompt reply from one of the support executives, who gave his personal ID for assisting me.


I must say I was really calm downed in a situation where I was out of my mind, and would really appreciate shopclue’s gesture towards its furious customers like me. I received my re-shipment within 4 days of reporting the incident and these people helped me in completing my entire look for the party which I was looking forward to. Pearl necklace had seamlessly finished pearls with a clasp lock of considerable good quality and the shining of the pearls lit up my spouse’s eyes:)


The things I learnt from my experience, 1. Not all e-commerce firms in India are here to loot you 2. At times we just want online shopping companies to listen to us patiently(we do have bad experiences to share and you should be ready to listen to it as well) 3. Receiving defective or damaged product is entirely a matter of bad luck and can be converted into a happy experience(just as it happened to me). 4. Happy with your help Shopclues, you have ways to go with an excellent customer care – kudos!
