Hello Everyone,
This shopclues website is fraud and they sell only fake products. It is my mistake that even after reading lot of bad reviews against this website I still went ahead and purchased protein powder. I purchased Optimum Nutrition whey protein for an amazing deal of 5579 including 450 rs coupon discount.
I placed an order on 7th September via COD payment mode. And on 13th September I received a call from DTDC courier people saying that they are coming to my place to deliver the product.
Immediately I logged into the Shopclues website and checked the order status.
In the website it was still showing as processing. There was no tracking details available. So I called up shopclues customer care and spoke to "Charu" [Don’t know the full name].
I raised my query and she told me to receive the product even though it is not updated in the website.
She also sent me a email to receive the product which is a good defense for me. Courier guy came and delivered the product. I paid him the amount.
I opened the product and as soon as I saw the exterior cover of protein powder, I said to myself "I’m screwed". I have used this same protein powder before and I know how exactly the cover looks.
After 1-2 days, I called up customer care and demanded for a refund. They told me to wait for 1-2 days more so that order status updates to "Delivered". I gave them 2 more days and again called up. As usual they told me to wait 2 more days.
On Sep 22, I spoke to Sachin and he informed he has escalated this concern with the higher department. On the same day [Sep 22]: I got a call from unknown number saying that they are from shopclues and asked me whether I received my product in good condition.
I told him I was raised a request for refund, he told okay and disconnected.
I think this call was from seller as it was from mobile. I tried calling back, he didn’t receive. On October 4th, I spoke to Minakshi Yadav and she told she has contacted the Merchant and waiting for response from him.
I spoke 1-2 times with customer support after that and again no proper/immediate response.
I got 2 calls from 011 246777050 on October 10th around 11:30 AM. He said he is from Shopclues and his name was Amit. He told me to raise a ticket with Shopclues regarding refund.
He told me he would call me back after I get a ticket number from Shopclues. No call till date. Fake merchant.
I spoke to Priya I think [Level 2] representative from Shopclues customer care Oct 14th, she told merchant is not replying to the mails and calls.
She informed me again to wait for 1 week. After this I spoke to few executives and they told there is no solution for this as the merchant is not replying or receiving any calls from Shopclues.
By the way, my order was cancelled automatically by shopclues saying that the merchant did not update that product has been sent to me.
Now I have lodged a complaint in consumer court. Hope I will win a case by good compensation.
