Biggest problem and shopclues won't solve

I purchased HTC Rezound(Order Number - 15345757) from shopclues on 19th June, 2014. It was to work with both gsm and cdma sim but I wanted to use only cdma. Shopclues offered the product for Rs. 12999 which was a great price for this product. I got this phone but somehow the phone only worked on gsm network and not cdma. I contacted the merchant, who tried his best to help me but ultimately said that he was ready to process the refund. I decided to send the product back. The company has a return policy stating that return should be requested within 10 days of buying the product. I placed my return request on 26th of June, 2014. I chose a pickup to be made by shopclues, from my residence. The pickup was made on 11th July, fifteen days after the request! I used to keep myself near my residence for these 15 days, so that when the person arrives to pick the product, I can reach my home within 15-20 minutes and give him the product.


After all this, we contacted shopclues regularly to know the status of our return. After going through long waiting’s on the contact number, taking to different people, explaining them everything, I was really fed up. It has been many days since the product reached the merchant, as per the status of our order, and the customer care people have been saying that our request will be processed within a day or two but that day still hasn’t arrived.


Tomorrow, it’s going to be one month since I applied for return, and have no idea whether I’ll be getting my money back or not. I wanted to talk to manager, but the manager was always unavailable. This is the worst online buying experience with me.


Shopclues thanks for playing with my time and my money. I just wanted a simple phone, but you have given me a headache. I don’t want to listen to your any more false commitment.My advice, never buy from a site which doesn’t offer support not customer satisfaction. No one knows when you might be in a situation where you need to return your order, and in the case of shopclues, I don’t think you will be getting anything back.


Worst experience. If you want don’t have problems in your life, want to experience mental tension, buy a product from this site and ruin mental peace for next couple of months!
