I ordered a Mini Electric Sewing Machine from Shopclues (order no. 5625059) on 4th August 2013 and it was delivered to me on time. The very same day when I received it, I found out that it’s really small. I realized that they don’t even mention the size of the machine on the site.
I opened it and tried using it. Within 5 seconds, it stopped. I kept trying thinking that it may work..but to my amazement...it never worked properly. Moreover, even if it worked, it can’t do most of the stitching jobs as the gap between the needle and the machine is so less that any thick fabric / cloth can’t go there. As I quickly realized that this machine isn’t of any use and is just a piece of Chinese junk.
I packed it and wrote to shopclues about the problem and asked for refund. After a couple of days, they got the item picked from my house and later informed me that the money will be refunding to my bank account. It’s been 10 days and I am still waiting for my refund.
I suggest NOT to buy from shopclues as they sell cheap quality products and their policies have been drafted to cheat the customers. There are many other sites to buy similar products.
